Engineering insurance and liability insurance are insurances designed to avoid huge financial burdens caused by huge losses. According to Hong Kong’s “Insurance Ordinance”, general business protection covers 17 categories, including motor vehicle liability, aircraft liability, liability for ships, general liability, and legal expenses. What exam do I need to take to sell general insurance?
Selling general insurance and selling long-term business insurance policies require participation in different exams. One of the requirements for selling general insurance is to take the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) Paper 1 and Paper 2. The content of IIQE Paper 1 is relatively broad, including some basic definitions of the insurance industry, the functions and benefits of insurance, related legal principles and applications, insurance principles, the main functions of insurance companies, the structure and supervision of the insurance industry, and the professions of the insurance industry’s moral. Generally speaking, Paper 1 needs a lot of recitation.
The content of IIQE Paper 2 is relatively short and in-depth. The content includes an introduction to various general insurance products, underwriting, insurance policies and other documents and renewal instructions, claims-related and customer service-related requirements.
How should I review the exam?
