The HKSI LE exam provides two languages, Chinese and English, and both are provided during the exam.

Therefore, when choosing which language to partake in the exam in, you should consider which language you have higher proficiency in; because if you take the computer-based exam, you can switch languages to view the translation at any time during the exam. Therefore, if students can’t understand the question, they can try to change the language; in this way, taking the computer-based exam can allow students to understand better what the question is asking. As for the paper-based exam, you can read back and forth in both Chinese and English; Therefore, people who know Chinese and English should take the paper-based exam to get more prompts than those who only know Chinese or only English. For some students who are concerned that they may use more English in their work in the future, despite that their mother tongue is Chinese.
