If you want to register for the real EAQE or SQE exam, students need to go to the VTC PEAK website to view the details. Below we will explain how you can register for the exam. The registration website is: https://www.peak.edu.hk/exam/en/page.php?id=575661

Below is the announcement, when you enter the VTC PEAK registration website, there will be a “Instruction” box like this below “Notice”:

Since it is already May, there is no chance for candidates to register for the January to June 2021 examination period, therefore everyone can consider the examination period from July to September instead.

The above table is divided into paper-based exam (left) and computer-based examination (right), However, it is recommended that students do not be picky with what exam mode they are going to be taking, because the exam seats are in great demand; therefore it is recommended that students take the exam as soon as there is an exam slot available.

How to register?

For paper-based exams, students can register for the exam in three ways, including:

  1. Online registration (https://www.peak.edu.hk/exam/econline/eaa/en/)
  2. Registration by post
  3. In-person / entrust others to register on your behalf

For computer-based exams, you can only register online.

For more registration tips, please refer to Real estate exam registration strategy: how difficult is it to apply for the real estate exam? Here are  5 registration tips!

When applying for the paper-based exam, students may need to choose the region in which they want to take the exam (New Territories/ Kowloon/ Hong Kong Island). Students should be careful not to check the wrong box because this selection cannot be changed. But in the end, whether you can take the exam in that region you choose depends on luck, ultimately you may not be able to partake in the exam at your chosen location, due to a large number of applicants.

What do I need to bring for the exam?

  1. After successfully applying for the exam, students must remember to check the accuracy of the information on the admission ticket.

  1. When entering the exam arena, you must present the admission ticket and the original copy of your identification document you used for the exam registration. If you apply online, you need to print the admission ticket on A4 white paper.

  1. Students who take the paper-based exam and wish to write notes need to bring their own HB pencils (at least 3 is recommended) and erasers
